General Care Tips

To ensure longevity of your handcrafted items, I recommend handwashing however there are some fibers that can be machine washed.

I encourage to wash each item separately for the first wash as sometimes the yarn dye can bleed.

Always lay your items flat to dry unless otherwise noted. If your item or garment is larger, once you remove it from a hand wash or machine, gently stretch the fibers back into shape before laying flat to dry.

100% cotton and wool fibers can withstand high heat which makes them great for kitchen use in hotpads, potholders, etc.

100% cotton items such as washcloths, dishcloths, etc can be soaked in vinegar to help remove stains.

Crocheted and knitted fabrics can be tight and snug when brand new. The stitches will settle with wear and/or use.

Nostalgia Heritage Beanie Collection

Fiber Content: 80% Merino Wool / 20% Silk
Care: Hand wash cold. Lay flat to dry.

Tips: The knitted design of these beanies will fit children and stretch for adult wearers, too! The hat may be snug at first, but the stitches will stretch and settle with wear. If the beanie is stretched out, hold the top and bottom of the beanie to stretch length-wise. This helps align the stitches and give it more compression.
